They have three children and five grandchildren.

He is survived by his daughter Holly Ranee Hunter and son Travis Lynn Hunter, his mother Lynda Kaye Phelps Hunter sisters Ronahkaye Shrum (a.k.a Mopsy), and nephews Zackary and Adrian Hunter.
